All courses are presented in English

Each candidate is responsible for his/her own well-being. CorrISA cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury.

Course Fees:
All courses are strictly prepaid and bookings will only be secured once FULL PAYMENT / official purchase order has been received.

Proof of payment must be emailed or faxed to the Course Administrator. Proof of Payment must reflect the candidate’s name. Confirmation of attendance will be sent to the candidate on receipt of full payment.

The number of seats of each course is limited and acceptance will be on a first come first pay basis.

CorrISA reserves the right to refuse admission.

Amendments:

Course dates, times and venues are subject to change.

If a course is cancelled by CorrISA the candidates are eligible for a full refund or optional transfer to the next available course.

Cancellations and Changes:

  1. PREAMBLE
    WHEREAS
    1.1. The Institute provides and/or develops various Courses (the “Course”) for and on behalf of its members and other interested parties.
    1.2. You have registered to attend a course at the Institute.
    1.3. This Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the terms and conditions in which you may cancel or obtain a refund for a course that you have registered for.
    1.4. This Policy must be read in conjunction with the CorrISA Course Registration Form completed by you, the terms of which are read as if specifically incorporated herein.
  2. CHANGE OF DATES, SUBSTITUTIONS, CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
    2.1. Should you cancel a course with the Institute in terms of the provisions of this Policy or otherwise, the Institute shall be entitled to, deduct from any amounts received by you, such amount as may be necessary to cover the costs reasonably incurred by the Institute in furtherance of its obligations in terms of the facilitation of the course before refunding the balance to you.
    2.2. There will be a minimum administration fee of R400 (four hundred rand) EXC VAT payable in the event of any change of date, cancellation substitution or sickness by you.
    2.3. No course for which you have registered and which has been confirmed by the Institute may be cancelled, except with written notice received by the Institute as follows:
    2.3.1. Written notification received by the Institute 21 (twenty one) working days prior to the commencement of the course, in this case you will receive a full refund of the cost of the course less the administration fee;
    2.3.2. Written notification received by the Institute 20 (twenty) to 14 (fourteen) working days prior to the commencement of the course in this case you will receive a 50% (fifty percent) refund of the cost of the course less the administration fee;
    2.3.3. Written notification received by the Institute less 14 (fourteen) working days prior to the commencement of the course, in this case you will not receive a refund of any fees in respect of the course
    2.4. Should you not attend the course for any reason whatsoever, you shall not be entitled to receive a refund of any fees in respect of the course.
    2.5. You are entitled to cancel as set out above and change the date of attendance of the course to another date on which the Institute is conducting the course, this may be done only once per course, and you shall be liable to pay an administration fee as set out in 2.2 above.
    2.6. You are entitled to send a substitute to attend the course on your behalf on condition that you inform the Institute in writing of this substitution on at least the Friday before the commencement of the course, and you shall be liable to pay an administration fee as set out in 2.2 above.
    2.7. In the event of illness the following shall apply:
    2.7.1. Should You fall ill 1 (one) day into the course and be unable to attend the course further you shall be entitled to a 50% (fifty percent) refund subject to a R400 (four hundred rand) EXCL VAT administration fee;
    2.7.2. Should You fall ill 2 (two) days into the Course and be unable to attend the course further, you shall be entitled to a 25% (twenty five percent) refund subject to a R400.00 (four hundred rand) EXCL VAT administration fee;
    2.7.3. Should you fall ill 3 (three) days into the Course and be unable to attend the course further you shall not be entitled to a refund.
    2.8. The Institute shall be entitled to request a medical certificate as proof of illness prior to the payment a refund as per 2.7.1 and 2.7.2 above.
    2.9. In the event of action being instituted against you by the Institute, you agree to pay costs on the attorney and client scale including tracing fees, counsel’s fees (if applicable) and collection commission payable in terms of law.
    2.10. A certificate issued under the hand of a member of the Institute, whose appointment and authority it will not be necessary to prove, will be prima facie evidence of the capital amount due and the interest rate applicable to any amount owing to the Institute by the You.
    2.11. You hereby choose as Your domicilium citandi et executandi for the delivery of any notices or process to be delivered consequent to any breach of this Policy the address as set out in the CorrISA Course Registration Form.
  3. BREACH
    3.1. In the event of either party:
    3.1.1. committing any breach of this Policy or failing to make any payment in terms thereof in due date and failing to remedy such breach or failure within 14 (fourteen) days after receipt of written notice calling upon the said Party to do so; or
    3.1.2. being paced in provisional or final liquidation, whether voluntarily or otherwise; or
    3.1.3. allowing a judgement to be taken against the said Party and failing to satisfy such judgement or take steps to have such judgement set aside within a period of 7 (seven) days of its becoming aware thereof;
    then and in such event the other party shall be entitled, without prejudice to any other rights it may have in law, to cancel this Agreement immediately without further notice.
