Nelis began his anti-corrosion career in 2004 as part of the Rhino Linings group. There he specialized in polyurethane technologies for the automotive industry and quickly evolved into serving the industrial sector. He started specializing in acid/chemical resistant applications in 2012, and from there he founded Federal Industrial Linings.
In 2025, he joined IBIX SA as General Manager where he has the responsibility of compiling corrosion & acid proofing specifications for applicators & end users including but not limited to SOE’s, the mining industry and a wide variety of industrial & manufacturing sectors.
