We will make our knowledge about the industry and its stakeholders available to the industry and to broader society.

The Institute will raise awareness about the problem of corrosion and facilitate the availability of relevant information, at a fee where appropriate, to those with the power to control corrosion. We will promote adherence to best practices within the industry. We will provide excellent training courses, constantly expanding the range, diversity and accessibility of training services which we render. Through accreditation and affiliation we will promote other training organisations who contribute to broadening the base of knowledge in the industry. We will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between the various role-players in the industry, enabling optimal partnerships and collaborations to be established and facilitating the application of best practices.
