We will attract the best knowledge in Africa, about corrosion and its control, to our membership and form partnerships with sources of the best knowledge in the world.
The Corrosion Institute will seek to become the de-facto source of the best information about corrosion in Africa. As a collective, our membership will know or have access to the contractors and professionals working in the field, research findings, academic endeavours, latest technology, best practices, materials, suppliers, installations and business opportunities. We will access the best information in the world through, inter alia conferences, membership of and liaison with other similar international bodies, membership of and liaison with bodies of other relevant industries as well as relevant trade and academic journals. The Institute will promote study and scientific research into corrosion and its control and facilitate reporting, discussion and publication of relevant, current information.
