We will involve and engage diverse stakeholders and will protect and promote the credibility of the industry, the Institute and its members both locally and internationally.
The Corrosion Institute will actively enlist the involvement of the broadest possible diversity of stakeholders in its membership and act to ensure that both the Institute and its members enjoy the highest possible levels of credibility and exposure in the industry, within Africa. We will set and uphold standards of excellence and seek regular and appropriate means of raising the competence and credibility of institute members. Awards will be used to provide recognition for a broad spectrum of achievements within the industry. Any person with a legitimate interest will be able to obtain, for a fee if appropriate, relevant information about and make contact with the person or organisation within or through the Institute, best able to provide them with the knowledge, skills, material or equipment they require to manage corrosion in their environment.
