The categories of membership available within the Corrosion Institute are
Company Members
Company Membership is open to any organisation - Industrial, Commercial, Professional, Scientific or Academic - interested in corrosion. There are 3 tiers of company membership to cater for the needs of different sized organisations. Each of these groups enjoy the core benefits of membership and additional benefits as detailed
- Platinum - Our premier membership caters specifically to the largest and most influential organisations.
- Gold - The ideal membership for multi-branch companies.
- Silver - Excellent benefits for smaller single-site companies
Individual Members
Individual membership is open to any person interested in any aspects of corrosion. Special categories of individual members are
- Fellows - At the discretion of the Corrosion Institute Council, members may be afforded fellowship status based on qualifications, experience and achievement. Their application must be supportedby at least three other Fellows.
- Honorary Life Members - Honorary Life Membership, without payment of membership fees, is conferred by the Council on individuals for outstanding service or contribution to the field of corrosion control.
- Retiree Members - Individual members of at least 10 years standing are. at the discretion of the Council, awarded retiree member status and are not required to pay memberrship fees.
