The Deadline for Applications for the Walter Barnett Scholarship is Approaching

The Walter Barnett Scholarship is awarded each year to a suitable candidate resident in South Africa on a NACE Level 2 course in South Africa. CP 2 and CIP 2 courses are planned in Johannesburg and Cape Town later this year. More details of these courses, requirements and dates are available in Events.

Applications for the award are invited from suitably qualified applicants before 15 July 2010. The application must include:

• full name and contact details of the applicant, including, postal address, contact telephone numbers, email address etc.
• relevant qualifications in corrosion control
• work experience in corrosion control
• a motivation, no longer than 500 words, why the award should be made to the applicant   
• full name and contact details of a referee in the corrosion control field
