An Administrative Coordinator position has become available at the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa. We are looking for a highly competent and organised individual with outstanding organisational, analytical and administrative skills to join our team.

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification – Grade 12 and at least 5 years working experience
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility for coordinating multiple tasks
  • Possess extraordinary communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Sales and Marketing knowledge
  • Ability to coordinate various events, expos and meetings
  • Secretarial experience at committee level
  • Very Strong administrative skills
  • Good knowledge and ability to work within a Microsoft office suite platform
  • Must have a good understanding of processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Pastel and maintaining a customer database
  • Knowledge of SETA’s and SAQA


  • English and Afrikaans – Read, Write and Speak fluently
  • Have good Interpersonal Skills
  • Team player
  • Willing to work flexible working hours / overtime as and when required
  • Good housekeeping
  • Should be systematic, organised and structured
  • Deadline driven
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
