Beverley, Tel 011 802 5145/6/7/8 The CIP 2 Maritime is a six-day intensive course that focuses on coating inspection in the maritime shipping industry. THe course highlights the skills and knowledge needed to correctly address the inspection requirements of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Performance Standard for rotective Coatings (PSPC). The course provides in-depth coverage of surface preparation, coating types, inspection criteria, failure modes, and case studies from the the maritime industry. The course concludes with both written and practical examinations. The student must acheive a pass mark of 70% in both the examinations to be awarded CIP 2 Maritime Certification.
In order to attend the course, students must have attended and passed NACE CIP Level 1 Certification.
