The five day Corrosion Engineering Course has been presented to critical acclaim to the broader corrosion sector.

 This is a certified, examined course covering the fundamental principles of corrosion engineering.

 A knowledge of chemistry and physics would be beneficial.

 The new edition of the textbook ‘Corrosion Control in Southern Africa’ will be used as course notes.

All delegates who pass the Corrosion Engineering course will also qualify for one year’s free membership of the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa.

 This course is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and is awarded five CPD credits.

CorrISA Members                                       R7 500-00 inc VAT

Non Members                                              R8 000-00 inc VAT

 Cheques made out to the Corrosion Institute or a bank transfer must be received before a candidate can be admitted to a course.

A withdrawal will be accepted within 2 weeks of the course starting date.  No refunds or credits will be entertained for any withdrawal at a later stage.

A certificated examined course covering fundamental principles, forms of corrosion, environmental and design aspects, corrosion prevention techniques (alloys, coatings, anodic and cathodic protection)

Who may benefit from this course?
Capital and maintenance engineers, architects, consultants, contract and quality management personnel, suppliers and specifiers of anti-corrosion methods and materials. A background in chemistry and physics of at least secondary school level is recommended.

Duration: Five full days (taught course)

Regional Availability:  Gauteng , Western Cape , Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape - Port Elizabeth Technikon and nationally as distance education through the RSA Technikon.
