- Internal Communications - Newsletters, website communications, emails
- Affiliation - Formation of mutually-beneficial associations with other credible organisations
- Articles and advertising in other publications - Promotion in industry publications through advertising and editorials
- Conferences and exhibitions - Presenting papers and exhibiting
- Member profiles - All members are encouraged to complete their member profiles and to keep them updated.
- Social functions - More social events such as fishing and golf days, whisky tasting and awards dinner
- Advertising - Limited advertising opportunities will become available to members in the next website upgrade
- Sponsorship opportunities - Members are advised of opportunities to sponsor events, special projects and awards
- Awards and funding initiatives - Annual awards for contribution to the field, research grants, scholarships and bursaries
