The Ivan Ogilvie Research Scholarship

The Institute actively promotes research into corrosion and corrosion control in South African universities and technikons. To this end, awards are made to outstanding post graduate/diplomate students, who undertake research in the field of corrosion control.

The field of study should cover any aspect of corrosion or corrosion control at any South African university or technikon. The scholarship is generally granted without conditions, however, recipients are expected to present the results of their work to the Institute.

The value is adjusted annually at the discretion of the Institute and no contractual commitments apply.
